Shipping Overview

Haus of Nomads default shipping is CTT Registered mail. In order to provide our customers with fair rates our shipping calculator takes into consideration the weight of the purchase, shipping destination and desired method. 

We are working on express shipping options, but should you have an immediate need, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the items you’re interested in purchasing and your full postal address so we can provide you with further options.

We aim to provide the shipment provider with your order within 24-hours of your payment received. Please note that orders received on a Friday will not be sent out until the following Monday and those received over a Portuguese bank holiday (feriados) will be shipped the next working day.  All prices are based on the latest CTT Postage Prices.  Should there be extended delays in our shipment of your order, we will notify you through our website ahead of sending your order or via email.

Portuguese Packages:

CTT Registado with track & trace:

Delivery aim of 1-3 business days not including the day of postage

CTT Encomendas for Packages over 2KG 

Delivery aim not including the day of postage:  

  • Portugal Mainland: 1-3 business days
  • Madeira: 3-7 business days
  • Açores: 7-15 business days

International Packages (Europe, USA & other selected countries):

Shipping prices are based on CTT world zones

CTT Registado with track & trace (until package leaves Portugal, some countries Postal Services may offer the possibility to track the package once the package is in their network.)

Delivery aim not including the day of postage:  

  • Europe:  3-7 business days  
  • Rest of the World: 6-10 business days

CTT Encomendas for Packages over 2KG with track & trace until destination

Delivery aim not including the day of postage:  

  • Europe:  3-7 business days  
  • Rest of the World: 7-10 business days (including USA, Canada, and Hong Kong)

International Shipping

Haus of Nomads offers shipping to many international destinations. Should you wish to ship to a destination that we don’t currently offer shipping to, please send us an email with your request and we will advise whether we can proceed with your request or not.

Customs and Fees

International orders may be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when they arrive. Haus of Nomads has no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information. The shipping charges you pay to Haus of Nomads do not include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to Haus of Nomads and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we are not able to issue refunds for shipping, the cost of your order or any associated costs if you refuse to pay the customs fees.

Return Policy

We carefully select our products and hope that our customers love them just as much as we do, but understand that there may be a reason to return an item. If your order arrives damaged or broken, please email us immediately at hello [at] hausofnomads.com to work out a replacement or refund. 

Otherwise, products purchased on our website may be returned for a refund of the item’s purchase price if returned within 14 days of the date of your order. Returned items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging. Items returned that are not in their original condition and packaging may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

Shipping charges are not refundable and will be deducted from your refund. Return shipment costs are also your responsibility as the customer. As we cannot be held responsible if the returned package is lost or the items are damaged in transport, we suggest you insure the package and send it via a trackable delivery method. 

Once your return is received and reviewed, we will send you an email to notify you whether your refund was approved or rejected. If it is approved, then your refund will be processed with a credit applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7-10 days.

Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
